I've ever eaten!
Just perfect. Surprisingly light & fresh & completely lovely.
If you're in Melbourne & looking for a good breakfast & a good coffee ... go to Porgie & Mr Jones
& make sure you order the banana bread!

In the laneway on the way to pick up my coffee this morning. I didn't touch it - I hope it made someone else smile.
They are popping up everywhere.
Do you know where this laneway is?

What Your Latte Says About You
You don't treat yourself very often. You find that indulging doesn't jibe with your very disciplined life.
You can be quite silly at times, but you know when to buckle down and be serious.
You have a good deal of energy, but you pace yourself. You never burn out too fast.
You're addicted to caffeine. There's no denying it.
You are responsible, mature, and truly an adult. You're occasionally playful, but you find it hard to be carefree.
You are complex and philosophical, but you are never arrogant.
What Does Your Latte Say About You?
Hmmm a very tricky This is... week for me. Steph's theme is a curly one.
I've really thought a fair bit about this & I'm offering my addictive personality as my demon. I don't think I'm dangerously addicted to anything (except maybe coffee). However, it is certainly something that I have to be mindful of.
Some of the things that I consider teetering on the edge of becoming demons are also the things that I am successful at or work hard at...interesting isn't it?
at Birrarung Marr are really quite something.
I was "fortunate" to be a parent helper on an excursion to the city today. The bells were doing their thing when we stopped at 12:30pm.
I ran a long way this morning, didn't get my coffee, didn't pack a jacket & am not really cut out for excursions.
Teachers, even the grumpy kind with a "superannuation stare" d connolly 2006 are sainted. If you are/were/might one day become a teacher. Thank you.
I'm feeling a little fragile.
Busy morning, a party afternoon & a party night but I've made a start on a little DIY project.
I'm very excited about it because it's involves boy meets girl craft (my favourite kind). I'm using the drill, the sewing machine, embroidery & strong glue.
It's collision craft - which is so much fun - it either turns out great & really special OR you wind up in hospital. If you don't hear from me tomorrow you know what happened.
The image is of the fabric in a coffee bath (it's out now & I'm really pleased with the lovely latte colour of the base cloth).
Sunday coffee at The Maling Room as reviewed here. Just lovely.
